Healthy living solutions
for disabled and disadvantaged

We would like to thank all our supporters who made it possible for us to make a difference and bring hope to so many young people, their families and communities. Kind words create confidence, kindness in giving creates love. Our targets in 2016 are measurable and in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals;

  1. To increase disability awareness through our advocacy programmes (Integration in society & equal opportunities for all to alleviate inequality & discrimination due to disability).
  2. To increase the number of custom-made wheelchairs to recipients in Nepal, Kenya, Malawi & Swaziland.
  3. To increase the number of education scholarships (Quality inclusive education). No one should be excluded from education just because they have a 'disability'.

Please get in touch with us if you would like to support one of our programmes - Would you like to sponsor a child, buy a wheelchair or support an advocate? Please contact us for details.

Happy new year!

Happy New Year from all of us at OWF. Thank you to all our supporters who make it possible for us to reach out and impact positively on lives. Even from miles away, you can reach out and change someone's life. This New Year 2017, is a fresh start for realisation of dreams, and I pray and trust we continue to spread new strength, bravery, opportunities and faith necessary for the people we support to achieve their dreams.

We are looking forward to great partnership this year that will help us continue to support the young people and bring hope. Thank you.

The Olympia-Wafula Foundation

The Olympia-Wafula Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing healthy living solutions for disabled and disadvantaged people. We also support their carers by providing a network of support opportunities. Through projects like the 'We Care Group' that brings together family, friends, and carers with outdoor activities, special events, motivational speakers and coffee mornings in Harlow. In addition to that, we help to improve future prospects for disadvantaged children by means of our 'Educate a Child' program in Africa.

We aim to improve the quality of life for others, regardless of age, ethnicity, or religious background.

Wheelchairs sent to Kenya

We were privileged to send wheelchairs to Kenya. This was made possible by Jane Mukabi of Royale Hotel, in Karen, Nairobi who arranged the shipping.

We’d also like to thank Global Hand UK, and Airlink for making it possible for two volunteers to travel to Kenya to distribute the wheelchairs. We also did disability advocacy in the community and through the media. It was really good to spend time with the students of Thika School.
